617 aint bad but 800 would be better. did you know used car peeps will accept a beacon of 520? with a 617 you will have to get a higher interest credit card but if you keep your balances paid on time and pay all they kick *** fees they gonna charge not counting late fees dont be late and pay you balance off before the due date
keep the card for a year or two and you will gets floods of offers for better interest chraging credit cards. the key is to PAY THE BALANCE OFF EVERY MONTH
a credit card is NOT a revolving payment. its true they DO have a minimum payment but thats NOT whats meant to be done with a credit card
If you gets sucked into paying the minimum only then you will NEVER get the damn thang paid off!

not really sure what a beacon 5.0 score is, but if it's the same as a fica credit score then yes. If you are having trouble getting one, you may want to try an Orchard Bank credit card. They offer cards for people with not so great credit and those with little to no credit history.

I think so, but it depends on more factors and there are credit cards for those with poor credit. (Beacon is the Equifax credit score which varies slightly from the standard FICO score and ranges from 340 to 820, whereas the standard FICO score would range from 300 to 850.)

Very easily you can actually get approved for almost any loan up to 50,000 and also get almost any credit card you apply for but make sure it is the one that you want because if you constantly apply in different places your credit score goes down everytime someone runs a credit application on you.

If your looking for a credit card with a credit score of 617, I would go to http://www.bad-credit-credit-card-for-people-with-bad-credit.info/ that has a list of credit card companies that issue credit to people with poor to bad credit. They have a list of both secure and unsecured, or you could just get a prepaid card for now until your credit score goes up.

I would wait until you score gets to 625 or higher, you'll have a better chance of being approved and will get slightly lower rates which will save you money over time.
