put duck tape on him thats a good joke and laugh for the class. lol ummm....... i have a friend the same way i would probably just slap him in the face and say shut up thats what i did one time but no that appropriate ummmmmm...... thats a good question i dont know how to do it in a nice way ummmmmmmm.......... what about after class ask him nicly will you please start being quiet in class and only talk a little bit. but nicely that would be an appropriate way. Make it look you are trying very hard to concentrate on what the teacher is saying and when he sees you are not listening to him he will stop. Unless he is so self absorbed he may just have what they refer to as diareal of the mouth. Bring in a bottle of Pepto Bismol and when he asks what it is for tell him.
