Goodness, this is like asking "Which is best, a Rolls Royce or a Ferrari?" These are two completely different kinds of drinks that really can't be compared. Margaritas are great with mexican food, on a hot summer evening, or while traveling in Mexico. Martinis are an evening out drink when you want to feel stylish and sophisticated.

I find both drinks to be great they are my favorite drinks and I do order them a lot when I go out. I think they are two different types of drinks in that one has a mixer of sweet and sour and the other is straight alcohol. So as far as that goes margaritas are great mixed drink and a vodka martini is one of the greatest drink inventions since alcohol was invented. They can both be the same flavor since you can add a twist to a martini and give it the lemon lime flavor of a margarita.

For me its a margarita, I personaly do not like martini, I find their flavor to be non existant except of being like drinking pure rubbing alchol. I have even tried a chocolate martini to add some flavor but still yuk.

Margaritas are better in my opinion. Martini's just seem so old fashioned, plus they taste awful to me.

Margarita offers the best variety... served on-the-rocks or blended.

Depends upon the mood... Gin or Tequila.
For me Margaritas (Tequila) is more of a party while Martinis (Gin) is more for mellowing out.

A margarita on the rocks is better IMO.

Margarita on the rocks out of those two choices, but you can't beat a good pina colada.

Martini has more flavor because it usually not blended with anything else.
