1)
If you change someones name and what he looks like - Aren't you changing who he is!?
We know his real name was Jushua (Yeshua) - I know they say the Greek name is Jesus but if you name were Jenny and it translated into Joanne and someone yelled out Joanne - would you respond. When I listen to foreign radio stations like in Japan, Germany, ect - the still call Jay Z - Jay Z.
We know he was not white.
The only white people in that region are the Jews from Europe.

True indeed. I agree 100% So then I ask - if it does not matter what color he is - Then why is he always portrayed as being white? Whey when you see a white person that looks like kid rock on a grilled cheese sandwich - why is it said to be Jesus?

Jesus was from palestine. There are some palestinians that are Jewish, but they are not white. Jesus was either Middle Eastern or Black. I think the church thought he was white becuz they like to see a little bit of themselves in what ever they worship.

The example you set through your actions and words defines who you are, not skin color or a name. I don't know anyone who says their belief in Jesus as The Christ came because they thought He was white or because of His name. It is because of what He taught, said and did.
Edit: I think Jesus is usually portrayed as white because no one had a picture of Him, so He was depicted as what the artists themselves were familiar with, a European appearance. There probably was some racism involved also. I hope we all have enough sense now to know that's not true or important. Most current movies, etc. with Jesus have Him looking more like Osama bin Laden, which, ironic as that may be, is probably more accurate.
May God Bless you.

Well the bible never emphasized looks, it isn't important to God what a person looks like and that is why there isn't a description of Jesus. Jesus is the Word of God, and that is where we should focus. The Greek name for Jesus is in fact Iisous (pronounced Eesous). But then again it doesn't matter how we pronounce his name, for it is his word that matters. As for Martin Luther King--the same applies.

you are suggesting the bible has been somehow altered by whites.this is pure sensationalism.this is all about the illistrations in the bible that sometimes show a white jesus.so what?it doesnt mean the writing has been corrupted.and im no theologian, but werent we all one race until god toppled the tower of babel?so the argument that jesus would look any particular ethnicity based on his geographical location is debunked.when you print your own bible, you can make jesus any race you want, sound fair?
i checked your links, and you seem to be the only one who feels this way.tthats just my observation, not trying to antagonize you.i understand what youre saying, but i think your anti-white attitude is affecting your judgement.

What you see are differences/changes in people because of the uniquness and complexity of our nature. Christ is the same from the begining, now and for ever.

Um, Jesus WAS a Jew, therefore he was white. He probably had dark hair like most Jews, but he wasn't black or Arab.

Thanks to Paul, Christianity had little to do with teachings of Christ to begin with.
