I think you need to go see a doctor as this could potentially be quite serious. They will probably refer you for a colonoscopy (camera).
Have you been eating normally?, losing weight? stomach/bowel crampy pains? diarrhoea/constipation? - all of these things could impact on diagnosis so go discuss with your doctor.

it sounds as though you have an infection. it maybe from a fistula ( open tract inside the annal passage) or it could be from an abscess that has formed due to straining. go and see the doctor they will do an internal exam it wont hurt too much just abit uncomftable. normaly bowel cancer does not have yellow puss coming from the annal passage.
the doctor may give you some cream and antibiotics.
Have you had any other bowel complaints? or boils or abscess?
i have crohns disease and the only time i have had this happen is for the above reasons i have given you.
once it has cleared up make sure you eat a diet full of fruit and veg.

maybe u have colitis or chrons disease??should see a doctor about this..
