Mmmm depends on ones tastes I suppose. I like a Good Steak Grilled Medium Seasoned with only Salt and Pepper could be topped with a bit of Garlic Butter. Mashed pototes lazy man style you know with the skins on them. Mixed Vegetables Roll And Lettuce Salad. A Good Drinking Whiskey Like Jack Daniels and 7up are very good. However The right Red Wine can be fine. 3rd choice would be a good impored Beer Corona or Heineken.

depends on where and when you are having this steak, myself once i eat something alcohol just doesn't taste good no matter what kind it is.myself the beer ( or a lot of beer) on a hot day while mowing the lawn, followed by grilling out and drinking more beer, then finally eating that perfectly cooked steak with some veggies, that is a great way to finish up a day! oh, sorry for people picking on you the meanies.

Beer is a filler u will already b full from the steak. Mixed drinks are good but with steak it wont justify its taste. Stick with the red wine

I like red wine with steak, but I also love a vodka martini or a jack daniels on the rocks. I don't drink beer with steak.

Personally, I'm a vegetarian, but I believe red wine is the suggested drink with steak.

Red wine is the answer for any type of beef or red meat for that matter. the style of red is up to you, even though certain foods scream for certain wine.for example:
a fatty steak like NY Strip or Ribeye, are paired better with more tannic wines like cab, shiraz, malbec, brunello, nebbiello
a leaner cut like tendeloin(filet mignon) are paired better with less tannic wines ,pinot noir, beaujolais, tempranello,of course this being said it is still a personal choice of what style of wiine you care for.scotch, vodka, ect ... have there place but, all are rather high in alcohol which will over power the food your eating istead of complementing it..hope this helps

Try a nice, deep red wine - A Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot mix would be perfect.
Also - A good gin like Tangueray or Sapphire with tonic water and lime.

An expert would say to serve red wine with beef, white wine with fish or poultry. I say it depends on who your guests are. If your friends are beer drinkers give them beer, if they like wine then wine it is. That is unless someone is writing a review on your meal.

Beer goes best with steak. But that's just me, since I'm not into wine.
