doesnt do this all the time. after it does start. it runs fine

the sensor (Neutral safety) that lets the ECU know the clutch is depressed is faulty or loose... it is located in the car by the clutch pedal

There is a switch near the clutch pedal that prevents starting unless pedal is pushed in. It could be loose or going bad. Should be 2 wires going to it. You could unplug it and run a short jumper wire and connect the 2 wires together, bypassing the switch. Easy and legal to do. Or get a new switch.

Its the clutch switch !!! I have the same year and model vehicle and the same problem happened around 28000 miles.
