HI,
I am from sweden, and am going to migrate to The United States, I wonder if I can simply change my driving license, when I arrive therem, or I have to take a driving course and take a test, getting a license as a many beginner do ? Hope some of you who live in the States can help me with my question. Thanks

You will be required to take the written and driving exam. Contact the DMV for the state you will be residing in, and request a driver manuel, it will also give you tips on securing your license without alot of hassle. Good luck, and welcome!

Yes, you will need to take a new test... dont worry, it's much easier than the tests you have in Sweden. Any monkey in the US can get a drivers license. When you do get your license, be careful. People are too busy talking on their cell phones putting on make-up eating a cheeseburger behind the wheel so the don't have the time to worry about something as petty as paying attention to the road.

you can get an international drivers license, which should cover you moving to the states. I know I got when when going to france last year and I rented and drove a car just fine there. Not sure how it works the other way around, but I would imagine its the same.
If all else fails and you do have to take a test, it will be as easy as pie. dont worry.

I know in my state the driver license facilitys will have you take a test. You should look at the rules for the state you will be moving to.

It depends on the state. But I willing to bet all states would require some sort of test for people from other countries.
