My best friends Fiancee' tells her we are having guys night out!! He goes and leaves her but then one of the other guys wife tags along??? He has never cheated, but almost did once that I know of?? The group consists of 1 married guy, an engaged guy, and a single guy!! So I guess my question is... Do you think he is really wanting to have a guys night or is he purposely not letting her go because of whatever reason??

The one guy who's wife tagged along didn't get his "guys night out". That's an issue between that couple, and maybe isn't related. It's difficult to trust a 'guys night out' anymore, because of all the lousy stuff that people do. The best thing for the friend to do is keep talking to her fiance. She needs to come to terms herself with whether or not she's going to put her trust in him. If he said he's going on a guy's night out, that isn't about whether or not the girls are there, that's about him needing some time to himself. And if he's going out with the guys, he's not going out with "a girl". You see what I mean? Especially if one of the wives was there, because a wife isn't likely to put up with funny business, ya know? I suggest you take your friend out for a "girl's night out", because that will probably make her feel better, and both of you might see a bit more of the fiance's point of view if you've gone out yourself.

Did the other guy's wife "tag" along, or did he invite her? If she just "tagged" along then she has a trust issue that needs to be resolved with her husband. If that's the case then it's unfair to think he wants a guy night out to cheat - he possibly thought he was having a night out with his friends. If this isn't the case then he wanted to go out without his fiancee purposely which isn't healthy at all.

sounds like he could be freaking out a bit about being married. now is a crucial time for her not to be clingy. the more clingy she is, the more likely he will sprint. the guy just needs reassurance that he will still be an individual. guys also need to know that the woman is an individual as well (own interests, friends). He is wrong to tell her it is "guy's night" when it is not. she should be understanding if the guy just wants some time to himself (whether with friends or not) he just needs a break......

I think he just wanna let his hair down and enjoy without someone keeping an eye on him! It could be, HE, himself is not sure if anything undesireable is to happen or not thus the safe option of not allowing her to tag along. :)

hi, because of whatever reason. i would say. if it is a real guys night out then they do not need there wives, girl friends or anyone else, think about it if girls have a night out and we invite a male he had better be a gay friend or the boys will blow there stacks.

Maybe your "friends" wife is a bore and he doesn't want her to ruin the night. Or perhaps she is selfish and whiny and his friends don't like her. Regardless, I think it is pretty clear he doesn't particularly enjoy her company!

he might be wanting some free time...whether he uses it well or for other purposes depends on the guy. but if they are in a serious relationship he should talkt o her about it instead of giving her some lame excuse
