how can i tell the sex of my perakeet?

i have 2 but dont know what they are and i want to name them i just got them yesterday

if there beak turns or is blue then it is a boy if it turns or is any other color it is a girl

See the two little ball thingies ontop of your parakeets beak? Those are called ceres. WHen your parakeet get to mabey about 1 year old if the ceres turn dark blue or almost purple it's a boy, If it turns a fleshy color or pinkish it's a girl. Your welcome!

by looking at the skin above the beak, if it is bluish it is a boy, and if it's brownish it is a girl parakeet.
