I am looking for places to volunteer my time. I like horses and most animals. I like people and am good at helping with problems. I like to make people happy and am pretty outgoing and enerjetic. I'm ok with tools and the outdoors. Love kids and movies. pretty good at reading and looking for a place where I would enjoy spending my time and look forward too. Any ideas?

Habitat for Humanity, aide at an elementary school, literacy teacher, and there are places where they give horseback lessons to the handicapped or sick.

Your local American Red Cross is constantly looking for volunteers. NOT just for big stuff like hurricanes, but things like helping the armed forces or going to local house fires to give out debit cards and vouchers for hotel stays when the family has no where to go. Also, blood services is always looking for people who can help with canteen services when they hold blood drives around your area. The Red Cross is very rewarding.

I love seeing questions where people say they want to volunteer their time!
There are LOADS of things you can do. My best advice to you would be to get in touch with your local volunteer center. They are partnered with tons of organizations and will help you find an opportunity that will meet your schedule and interests. They've probably got opportunities you've never even thought of - everything from being a docent for a children's museum to helping with a fundraiser or even assisting with activities in a long-term care facility to helping deliver programming in an after-school program!
If you need help finding your local center, I would suggest contacting your local United Way, or checking out the Points of Light website (www.pointsoflight.org), or even a site like VolunteerMatch or 1800Volunteer.org (www.1800volunteer.org).

a hospital or nursing home. The elderly always enjoy the company and reading to the is great for both of you.
Also, meals on wheels are always looking for volunteers to deliver meals to shut ins and the elderly.
Then there are schools who need room mothers to assist teachers.
Your church with fund raisers.
Just a few off the top of my head.
