My 5 month old Boxer cross went through a regression phase at around 3 1/2 months, it lasted about a week, and now at 5 months old it seems he has hit another one. Suddenly he's had 3 'accidents' in the house in two days (after weeks and weeks of successful house training) is once again crying when he is crated vs. never making a fuss since he was 10 weeks old, barking more and just acting plain neurotic. it's like he's 8 weeks old all over again.

I'm just looking for confirmation and maybe some anecdotes of the same flavor to put my mind at ease. I assume in a weel or so he'll be back to normal...but in the meantime ;)

from what my puppy trainer says it could be the cycle of the moon. our puppy is acting up right now. not listening, jst acting like a nut. he jst turned 5 so i'm hoping its true that he's jst acting on the full moon thing.

check the vet to make sure there is no UTI issues. my elderly cat told me she had an issue when she pee'd on my mom's clothes. we took her in and found crystals.

animals do show us that they are having issues in the weirdest ways.
