I've been with my bf for 2 months(im 21,hes24)I am his first gf in 2 yrs(his ex cheated on him & was badly hurt this)At first he was always wanting to see me,we live 30 min away and only i have a car.In the first couple weeks he took me to meet his parents and his friends.Lately hes been acting distant.Now we barely see each other and when we do,we are either at his parents house or out with his friends.I hate having to 'schedule' myself in.I feel neglected & like he doesnt care about me. i've brought his up with him b4 and he just tells me i shouldnt feel like that and to just "chill" and that hes "not going anywhere".When we are together he is very kind and tells me how much he enjoys hanging out with me,but then I dont see him for 4 or 5 days.i've noticed he drinks alot.Now he wants to know wats wrong!!I want to bring this up again b/c it's REALLY bothering me.I dont want to break up and I dont want to play games.Why do u think hes acting like this???how should i handle this??

As you said "He drinks a lot" - enuff said - break up and save your self the heartbreak later on. You deserve so much more and quite frankly - he sounds like a bum. He told you everything you need to know he's "not going anywhere" is true - he isn't going anywhere in life. He has no motivation to correct the situation he's in by getting a car. He isn't putting in any effort to make the relationship grow. And he doesn't care enough to address your concerns and find a comparable solution so you both are happy. I think he's acting like this because he's immature. This is probably why he hasn't had a girlfriend in 2 years - he isn't willing to put anything into the relationship. He's just lazy.

If you have only dated this guy for two months, and you already noticed how much he drinks, imagine how much more it could be when you're not around. Imagine if this first few months, are supposed to be when they're on their best behavior, what's it gonna be like later on? Why are even considering to keep this relationship? you're not equal, you have a car, a life, and a better outlook in life.
of course he wants to see you, you're willing to drive to see him, not the other way around, it's liek a delivery girlfriend, not having to worry about a thing. You should be with someone who MAKES time for you, not someone who will SCHEDULE you when it's convenient for him.
I know you don't want to end things, but I guarantee they're sure as heck not going to get any better. He already sounds like he's tired of your whining. I don't think he will make you happy, so please you deserve a lot better, move on.

Do you know what he's doing when he's not with you? He's seeing other girls and hiding it from you. Might as well start seeing other guys.
The only way he'll come back to you is if you're more distant and harder to get in touch with than he is. You either need to separate for a while or just be unavailable when he calls and too busy to go out with him. That's the only way he'll start chasing you again.
If you tell him how much you love him and want to be with him, etc., etc, he'll take you for granted and cheat on you.

I know this isn't what you want to hear but, I think it is time to get out of the relationship. It doesn't make sense, so there has to be something more going on with him.

I've dated an alcoholic with no car and lived with his parents. He nearly ruined my life. Get out now... don't get sucked in anymore.
