if a person really likes you or is just stringing you along because they don't want to hurt you?
i like this girl and we both agreed to take things slow (we just got out of relationships). she said she likes me but doesn't want to hurt me. i say the same. her friends tell me she likes me but is scared and they like me for her. my friends adore her and think she's good for me too. (weird, never happens) but i can't tell if it's real. sometimes i feel she wants that comfort there, but doesn't want me. other times i know she wants to be with me. how can i know for sure if she won't tell me?

you just have to talk to her about it.. step up and make the move..

1-say its killing you that you dont know if she still wants to be with you

2- its all or nothing.. meaning, dont pull yourself along hoping that she'll come around. you need to be happy too

If a woman wants you, you'll know it. All of this "take it slow" and "lets be friends" is just her way of keeping you around as a fall back guy.

Do yourself a favor and move on. Stop wasting time with someone that doesn't really want to be with you and instead spend it meeting new people who will.
