He may have had his eye on you for a while waiting for it to end, it did and now he wants a chance before anyone else beats his time. All you did was break up, you don't have to go into mourning. If you want to go out then do so. If you don't then just ask him to wait a couple of weeks.

You've broken up correct? Why would you not want to go out with someone if you are attracted to them. I am concerned that you may not be over your breakup otherwise you wouldn't have to ask yourself this questions.

Tell them you need some time to be on your own but that you appreciate them asking you out and you hope they will again sometime down the line (if you DO want to go out with them).

Don't do it, you are feeling rather vulnerable and unsure about your emotions at present and unfortunately there are a few unsavioury characters that will use this to their advantage. I would difinately reccommend a cooling off period.

Well it might be good to go out to help you just go on.

that's your call. are you ready for that? don't do it just to please him/her because if you lead someone on like that, it could be catastrophic for both of you. make sure you're ready to do it before you commit.

That would be your call. Don't do anything you don't want to.
