It was quite a sharp stick in the eye of Mysticism, was it not? Is it not interesting that the victorious ones were not those who beleive God was on their side, but the ones that used logic and reason and training to fight and win?

I thought 300 was one of the most overblown movies I've ever seen. Did not live up to the hype at all. How many times am I supposed to look at someone get impaled with a spear or listen to rally speeches and still be impressed? Spiritually, I didn't get anything out of it because the dialouge wasn't deep enough.

I'm going to see it this afternoon. I'm hoping it shows that religion can be used for good, but I doubt that I'll find that.
