Its this guy that just wont get the hint. I dont answer his text messages, i dont answer his emails on myspace, i dont return his phone calls, i stood him up on several occasions and i just flat out told him that at the time im not interested but he keeps pursuing. he has even gone to the extent of making his myspace name about me, he also emailed my best friend and my sister asking about me and was i interested and to me i am giving him clear signs that im not interested. he told me that he saw that i wasnt responding so he was just going to leave me alone and when im ready for a real man then he will be there but he hasnt gone anywhere. he has sent me poems and everything. now i dont want to sound like a ***** or anything but im not interested in him like that. i carried him in 7th grade and now he is still trying. now doesnt he sound like a nice guy or a stalker?

start carrying a loaded pistol and the next time he approaches you point the gun in his face and tell him to piss off!

Oh man. This is an extreme case..
Ok. Here's what it is.
Immature men have this notion that the harder they pursue you, the more likely you will be with them. They think you will see how strong their love for you is, and this will win you over.
This notion is strengthened by Hollywood stereotypes where the man chases women until she falls for him.
If he's really a nice guy and has a misdirected understanding of love and relationships, then he will eventually lose interest with you. This can be accelerated by him finding someone else to be interested in.. Most guys, after two or three tries with this technique will move on to try more successful dating techniques...
There are two exceptions to this. 1 is the guy who succeeds with this technique. I'm no psychologist, I have not studied this phenomenon but my thinking is, if a guy has success with this, he will keep trying it longer than someone who has never succeeded with it. When I was a kid this didn't work for me and I think I tried it around three times. If successful it could lead to continued attempts that reflect serious stalking.
The 2nd type is the true mental case. Someone who fixates on a subject and is not stable enough to understand that this fixation is abnormal. These are the people who are dangerous to others. They are the true stalkers.
I think in your case he is most likely just trying to "Prove his love for you" and in time he will give up.
The whole myspace thing makes it a little creepy though.
He's not listening to you, maybe he'll listen to others. Maybe if word comes from his friends/peers that he has blown any chance with you he'll give up.
I don't know. These are all just my opinions.
Good luck.
A~

The guy obviously likes you a lot. But guys usually don't pay attention to obvious indication of having no interest. The only way to get rid of him is to be mean about it. I know you don't want to appear to be an a**hole, but sometimes you have to be before it becomes any worse. I believe he is bordering on stalker-ville. Let's say you did give him a shot and then you decided you wanted it to be over...he seems like the kind of guy that wouldn't allow that to happen and that's not safe. You can tell a lot about a person by their actions and if he's doing these things after you told him straight out you're not interested, then he has mental problems and you should steer clear.

well it sounds like he just really likes you a lot and does not relize how crazy he is acting. write him a note on myspace or something like that about how you dont like the things he is doing and to please stop it and also just flat out tell him your not interested at all in that letter just so he cant come back and say u never told me that. If he does not stop then yeah u have a stalker and should talk with the police

Yea the loaded gun idea sounds great. But unfortunately you are probably too young. Anyway, he's a stalker. Anyone who bothers you this much after you have made it clear you don't want them to, is a stalker...bottom line. Find yourself a big guy that can "take care" of him for you. Or at least be the front man. Ask your dad to scare him, or a friend's dad. You can block his emails too. Go on his page and hit block under his email, rate, add me, block me menu. Change your cell phone number too.

i'm no longer being impolite, yet this kind of cellular telephone the guy had definitely entered your ideas? What? you'll locate that typically the people who do not care as a lot about worldly issues are those that care about issues that are fairly major in life. This guy that you're with and are in touch in not often listens to you? you're in touch in him by way of way he clothing and the flaws he has and all that...yet you doesn't be taking into consideration some different person if the guy you're with is fairly who you needed. I definitely could use the old cliche...under no circumstances choose a e book with assistance from it really is cover. magnificent needs!

Then STOP hinting and tell him straight out! Good grief - hinting doesn't work, just get cajones and say something. You're being cruel with your game playing, just step up and do it. He does sound a little stalker-ish, but until you tell him flat out, he is not going to go away.
