when you sit a tub full of warm water, what you are sitting in is a soup of bacteria. In women, this leads to frequent urinary tract infections, yeast infections, and dry skin. Suggest you give up tubs and shower only, but if you cannot bear to give up the tub, at least shower and scrub yourself well before you sit in a pool of the bacteria that would otherwise cover your body.

This is normal but if you have a shower I would use the shower first to get clean and then soak in the tub as you are sitting in dirty water if you don't wash up first before you soak. You can soak as long as you want in the tub.

Well just make sure you rinse your body off before you get out. But yes, it can lead to urinary tract infections, and such if you aren't careful and don't rinse with a quick shower.
