i am suspecting it is a russian/russian/egyptian name but I actually have no idea...I tried doing yahoo search and nothing came up. someone help me!

i think that name could be pronounced all different ways. im curious as to who ever answers this question right what the correct way is.

id think it could be pronounced

maybe from biblical Josiah (In the Old Testament this is the name of a king of Judah famous for his religious reforms. He was killed fighting the Egyptians at Megiddo) ?

I'm russian, but not sure about this name. It acctually looks familiar with Josef (or in russian Iosif - ee-o-see-f, you can call him Iossia, or Iossya)

But i have big doubts about it
