flat plugs or the round ones...i assume i need an adapter for my mobile charger so i need to know in advance.

You can get a converter at Radio Shack or a specialty luggage store.

On your computer, check to see if it accepts up to 220v/50 cycle. If so, a new power cord with the 2 prongs, round tips will work. Forget about a hair dryer. You will need an adapter for anything else. Don't try to adapt a "power brick" (plug-in box that steps 110v to 12 volt) that plugs into the wall with an adapter. That will fry.

Unless you have a 110/220 switch on your phone or appliances you won't be able to use it. Adapter is only so you can plug it in to thier outlets. If you don't have such a switch on your phone you can buy a converter but they are bulky and not worth traveling with. Some Hotels do have a few 110 outlets for tourists but you should call ahead and find out.
