one thing i did with all of mine was mom and baby gym classes. they were fun! don't know where you live, but some places have mom and me swim classes. those are great too.

At that age most kids like different sound and touches.You can try clapping your hands with different beats.Make silly faces and sometimes toy can watch your child make a funny face.Just be sure to have a camera nearby for that special moment.Another thing you can try is letting your baby watch a baby Einstein movie.My child would watch it 24/7 if I would let her.She gets very limited time with TV.Anyway if you know of anyone else that has young children you should ask if maybe you can have your kids play together for a while.It's never to early to have your kids play with others.I hope you find some good ideas.

I agree with the library days. Most libraries have them for different age groups. For the youngest ones it's usually a few songs, a game and a story. The kids get to participate as much as they want, and they get to know the other kids their age. It's also great encouragement for reading, they can pick out new books and movies each week. Plus you can meet other parents.

there are plenty of activities that will give your baby excersize and help himlearn to be social. ex. swimming classes (you have to take him and help him learn but it's rewarding.
you could sign up for a new parents class there are many activities, and tips there.

Take him to the park, make a playdate, go to the zoo......even the little playgrounds at the mall can be a great place for him to interact

Local library has Story Time for babies and toddlers. Kids love to go and its free.

try taking him/her to the mall... photo studios are great places for kids to meet and play... check out online for playgroups in your area...
