Yes...sugarless gum usually contains aspartame, a chemical that artificially tastes sweet, and has an odd-until-acquired after taste. Having aspartame in food has been linked to brain tumors, brain lesions, some cancers, and lymphoma, although no real proof has been found.
Besides, why would you put chemicals into your body?

I did a research paper on aspartame when I was in high school and despite what I had heard from people, none of the research I found showed that aspartame was harmful. My paper was specifically aimed at the question, "does it cause cancer?" though so I am not sure if there are any other harms, but it does not cause cancer.

If one chews too much of it can lead to endless visits to the lavatory due to the levels of aspartame. This can, in extreme cases lead to dehydration and the need to replace fluid and salts in the form of an electrolyte drink. It can also make you belch a lot.

surgarless gum is still sweet becouse they put artificial sweeteners in it. chemically altered crap!
your better off chewing regular gum and trying to walk it off.

yes if its frucose it can cause issues but sugar alchol hasn't shown any yet or splinda but frucose from corn has
