Maybe you are overexerting yourself. Is the 30-40 minute workouts really intense? Are you eating enough calories and drinking enough water? When you exercise you need more nutrients. Try taking a multi-vitamin with a little extra boost of B vitamins if you are not already.

I would think an energy drink would help you. However, if you are concerned about your health, then you should know, most of the popular energy drinks on the market have a lot of sugar and caffeine in them, which are bad for you. They will give you a quick "boost" then you "crash".
I drink an energy drink that is healthy for you, works in 10-15 minutes after drinking it, lasts for several hours, and is a lot less expensive than those other energy drinks. It comes in a powder form ("on the go" packet) so you can mix it with 8 oz. of water or other beverage.

Many athletes get an energy boost after a work out with a little energy drink. I eat complex carbs when not working out and after a work out I get some simple carbs so that my body uses it for fuel rather than muscle mass

Before homing in on the answer, it's extremely important to know whether the symptom of tiredness existed BEFORE you started your exercise program, or whether it started after you stared your exercise program. If it was there before you started , then we can't say that the exercise is in any way responsible. If your body tiredness began AFTER you started working out, you are probably overdoing it at the beginning, and you should probably drop back on both the number of days and the length of the exercise periods, and gradually over the course of a couple of months build up to what you are doing now. If the tiredness was there BEFORE you started the exercise program, you should see your family doctor, as tiredness can be a symptom of literally hundreds of medical problems which can be successfully be treated.

What are you doing after your workouts? If you are going back to the couch and not keeping up your activity throughout the day, you will of course be tired.
One needs to keep moving. Not at the workout rate, but one that keeps the heart rate consistently higher. As time goes on, your body will adapt to the added exertion and you will be more energised.

Try lessening your workout and getting eight to nine hours of sleep. Exercising and good diet is important, but sleep is essential to feeling well. This Saturday, sleep in nice and late and have a day off from your workout. I bet you'll feel a lot better on Sunday.

Are you varying your workout routine (Arms and abs one day, legs and back the next, aerobic the third, etc.)?
