If a girl likes you and you liked them would you rather them asked you out face to face a note or by email such as email?

While I'm not a young person, it depends on how often I see the person during the day / week. How busy we are - work, homework, household stuff etc.
I've always felt F2f is always the best.
If you already know you like each other already (as suggested in your question) - he would be happy to see anyway, see your eyes, smile, etc
See him a dozen times a day? Face to face, and something as simple as, "hey, I'm going to... want to join me?"
Dozen times a week, face to face if you can, or otherwise note/ e-mail. along the lines of "hey, I wasn't able to catch up with you today, I'm going to..... and wondering if your up to it/available etc...
Once a day or once a week, f2f, but not as easy of course so a note or e-mail would make sure he got your message, and make it something along the lines of "hey, I've been meaning to ask if you would be available on.... (date/time, etc) and interested in.... , it's a... (causal/formal)..... event...."
I may be older but I doubt young men have changed all that much :)
....and... Unless he has some major self-image problems he would love for you to ask once in a while.

I'd rather much have the girl ask me out face to face. With current social rules of dating, I think it's time girls really saw how it is for us guys to even approach someone attractive for a date.
And after such experiences, maybe there can be a better understanding of personal relationships between sexes.

it's okay to answer her by a note or email but it takes long for you to get the answer back but if you are confident enough ask her face to face after that you can use the message

Face to face is always better, because you can see the intent
and emotion in the other person's eyes. Besides, if you get a
turn-down, you can instantly find out why?!!
IM's and emails are just too impersonal (mechanical).

i dont care what boyz think, but i would rather get asked 2 my face. my old/current bfs agree. i broke up w/one face-2-face and he told me thanx cuz he would never b able 2 respect me had i texted/emailed it 2 him.
