But otherwise she is a normal baby and no problkem with eating. age wise growth is normal.

For the sleep issue, I have found that my kids sleep better and are not disturbed by small noises if soft music is playing or some white noise like a fan is running. In fact my 3 month old wakes up if the fan turns off!

At 11 months old, she knows who loves her! She wants your attention and to be held...I say go with it! If it makes her happy. As for discipline, I dont think that she will understand. You can begin to teach her to self soothe - waiting 1minute, then 2 minutes, then 3...each time she cries - but telling her that you will pick her up soon. SHe understands that part. Eventually she will soothe and be happy even when you dont pick her up. This method isnt fool proof and takes a while to do, but it works.

Our son was colicy as a baby too. But I didn't know this until one day he quieted while I was blowing my hair dry. After going through 2 blow dryers we purchased a CD called "For Crying Out Loud". I would see if playing a CD calms him. I liked the CD we purchased by our son really only like a couple tracks. So if he still calms to the vaccume or a blow dryer I would day purchase a CD with just one noise on it like a vaccum.

hi 11month old baby is too small to understand anything.u should check if there is any pain in her stomach because sometimes small baby cannot digest some kind of food we give to them.this is the time when we introduce new things on their menu card.some food make gas in their stomach and they cry for ours.also check by holding the baby straight in your arms that is she folding her legs.if yes then surely she is having bad stomach.

You should probably consult a child's specialist doctor, for the best.
I hope everything goes fine with the baby. God Bless!

she is a baby..she will do the way you will behave with her..she has less understanding...take care of her..love her...play with her, give attractive toys, if she will not behave properly make a point to correct her...you are her grandmom ..so tell her grandma's stories, make her laugh....i am sure with her you will also enjoy..
