Okay i'm planning a trip to puerto rico in late june or july this summer. I had originally planned on staying in the san juan area (condado beach) but now i think i want to stay somewhere a little more secluded.
I want it to be romantic&fun since it's going to be me and my boyfriend, we're 18 and 19.
any ideas?

Since you are kind a young... I would not get too far from San Juan area. That's where you guys will find the clubs, and bars to habg out at night. But...if your trip is solely romantic and are not too interested in the clubbing scene...then you might want to try Vieques (sister island on the east coast), but I warn you there is not much going on but the Martinuea Bay Resort is the most romantic place "ever".

You will have to take a ferry from Fajardo or a flight from the main airport in San Juan or a small one from Fajardo, but it is totally worth it. There is also a bioluminiscnet bay where you can kayak at night and enjoy the natural neon light on the water. http://www.biobay.com/
There is another sister island called Culebra, but it is less developed than Vieques but the beach is beautiful, quiet and full of secluded areas. Again, you can take the ferry or a plane. Check this website for accomodations and make sure you click on the $$$$ to see them according to price range.

If that is too complicated or expensive you might want to check the west coast. Lazy Parrot is a very nice small inn close to th ebeach and restaurants, not as touristy as San Juan. http://www.lazyparrot.com/
And finally, if you still want to stay in San Juan... the most secluded areas will be the Caribe Hilton and the Ritz Carlton

Can't recommend a specific place, but if I was planning such a trip here, I would check out these sites.
www.frommers.com or roughguide.com and do a search for Puerto Rico. Then search site for info
try www.tripadvisor.com - here you can find user reviews and you can select to see the accomodation listed for a particular category e.g. romance.
For ideas of things to do, check out the various entries at www.visit-the-coqui.com
You could always still stay in the main tourist area Condado / Isla Verde and then drive out to the more secluded beaches etc..

if You have the Money....El Conquistador in Fajardo..Palmas del Mar en Humacao....Dorado and if you're into the Mountains...Utuado's Casa Grande...
