You can't do anything unless you caught him in the act and called the police at that time to fill out a report..Right now it is his word against yours. A friend of mine dog got shot by a neighbor, it was a little poodle, Even though she knew he did it , she just didn't have a leg to stand on because it was her word against his.

Sorry for your lost. What makes you think they killed him ? Where is the dog? Take to a vet and find out what killed it ? Your going to need a witness or evidence to prove it, or wise you'll be the one getting in trouble.

i'm soo sorry about your loss!
if your dog was contained, report them to the police. if you can, have an autopsy done on your dog to see what it died of. it may help you if you have a case against your neighbor.
if your dog was running free and you have a leash law, you really don't have much of a case.

Unless you have solid proof, there's really nothing you can do. I know how you feel; one of our neighbors shot three of our dogs and two of our horses. The horses lived...the dogs weren't so lucky. We didn't have enough solid proof that he did it except for his contradicting stories, so we couldn't charge him with anything.

everyone one says there is nothing you you can do but thats not completly true. do you know it was the neighbour? etc. i would contact the t.v stations, and peta... that is what i did when the police and everyone else did nothing for my sister's dog when it was killed by a neighbour. it got it on the news etc

Report him to the ASPCA or HUMANE Society for the ultimate in animal abuse Hope you are doing ok

what are your clues? why do u suspect him? if you have enough evidence, go to the police immediately.
