It sounds to me that your daughter suffers from night terrors. Speak with your pediatrician about this immediately so that they can do a sleep study. Your daughter doesn't have to go thru this anymore if you get her the right kind of help. Night terrors are terrifying nightmares that seem entirely too real. When a person is that scared...their bodies react by throwing up, and sometimes even wetting and soiling themselves. My son had night terrors too........please make her an appointment ASAP.

It could be a sign in insecurity. Can you think of anything that she want all the time like a teddy bear or a doll or something that she is really close to?Maybe you can find a different routine that she would like better.Maybe she likes a special song or something like that and you could teach her to sing that song when she is unhappy or sad or scared. My daughter is almost two and since she was born a came up with a silly song that always make her feel better.I sing to her [cause I'm a baby yea yea yea or,cause I'm so cute yea yea yea]she loves it so much.I just thought it was worth trying.Good luck I hope everything works out for you.

My 22 month old son does this exact same thing! He does this because he doesn't have a routine or well established sleeping habits. Rest assure that doing this will not damage her insides!!! She is probably throwing up b/c she is crying to hard!!! She should grow out of this!!!

Sounds like she might have acid reflux problems, definetly check with a doctor. Meanwhile see if it helps to have her sleep in a reclining position with two or three pillows under her head.

It means that she is insecure and needs someone there with her until she is able to cope with being by herself. Children often go through seperation anxiety. This may be the case. If so it will pass in a few months.
Childhood is such a small slice please ease her through it.

I would talk to your doctor. It doesn't sound good for her at all. I don't know what could be causing it, it could be a little bit of separation anxiety, when she wakes up and no one is there, she flips out and gets herself all worked up about it. Good luck to you, I am sure that is VERY stressful!!!

she needs to be sleeping with you. it'll stop instantly, unless she has a health problem. more likely, it sounds like she's sick with fear and sadness. babies/toddlers evolved to sleep with the mothers. everyone's happier when they do.
