my prom is in the middle of may. i have a friend who i have a lot in common with. but the thing is he's not that good looking. i have a hott friend who is 5 years older than me but im not sure is he has a gf or not. on his profile it says he is in a relationship but i think it is a joke. he's more of a womanizer who has tons of friends that are women, so who should i pick? if i pick the hott one then i know my prom pics are going to look good but i'm afraid hes gonna dance with other girls, not just me. i want him all to myself. if i pick the not so hott guy i know we'll have fun but i'm not attracted to him that much and i feel my prom dress will be a waste. so who should i pick? should i pick looks or someone who i'll have fun with?

Honestly, I think you will have way more fun with the not-so-attractive one, mostly because if you go with the hott one then he will most likely pay little attention to you if any and may even flirt with girls.
Would you rather have a guy that Flirts with other girls and doesnt pay attention to you?

Would you rather have a guy who will listen to you, and pay more attention to you and not other girls.. Who cares if hes not so good looking, hes a guy and he is probably really sweet, so i would pick him.
Either way.. your prom dress wont be a waste...
If you pick the hott one and he does go flirt and dance with other girls, then its his loss, go find some friends to dance with and you will have fun, just dont worry about it if he does dance with other girls, because you took a risk, and risks are ok in life..

To me it sounds like you would have a better time with the ,as u put it "not so hott" friend. You wont be worrying about him being off with everyone else. Your date will actually be there with you not with all the girls in your school. U have to decide do u want to have a good time and a good memory of your prom or do u want to think back at your prom and it be the worst memory you have from school years. Looks shouldn't mean a thing to you. If they are then maybe you should just go alone to the prom. Or go stag with a girlfriend. And dance together. Have your pictures taken together. To me u are being rather selfish by saying that if u take your not to hott friend that your prom dress would b a waste. what kind of a friend are you?

Prom is suppose to b a fun and an enjoyable memory. If you think the hot guy is going to be dancing or flirtin w/ other females what's so fun about that. You dont want to spend the entire nite chasing a guy who can't grow up and notice that prom is a special moment esp. for a female. If you have someone that is willing to take you more seriously and treat you like a princess that you r meant to be go for it. Remember looks aint everything and you'll never know his looks can change and he looks hot the nite of the prom. Good luck and hope you follow your heart.

He will dance with other girls. You are not his girlfriend. Someone who is 23 and willing to go to a Prom is weird anyway. Trust me. You should take the friend. If you take the weirdo 23-year-old, you will probably end up crying in the bathroom. If you take the friend you will probably end up having a great time. Something that girls and/or women find out as they get older is that they always regret passing on the great guy for the hot guy.

It's shouldn't matter what the guy looks like as long as you fun with him. You have to remeber god made ever look a certian way so we all won't look that same. If you want to your friend that dosen't look at that good then do that . But you might want to make that your friend who is five years older then isn't in a relationship and find out if the wants to a high school prom .

Neither save your parents the cash and stay home because you have no redeeming value if you think that you need a hottie on your arm for your prom.
Your "not so hot" friend is going to turn out to be a fantastic guy for someone else then you're going to regret treating him badly. Quite honestly you should go with the "hottie" so he can dump on you the way your dumping on your "friend". With a friend like you he sure don't need an enemy.

find more info on the hott one, and if he is taken, or doesn't end up going with you then you have a backup... ya sound mean, but hey you have a prom date either way. But i would find out soon, to make sure neither of them are taken before you choose.

Pick someone you'll have fun with. 5 years from now those Prom pics won't matter cause you probably won't even see them again but you'll have the memory of a good time forever.

pick the one whose more fun, at least it'll be a memorable prom and not just some hot looking pictures from a long time ago, when you think of it 10 years from now.
