Yesterday I was playing basketball, and my friend accidentally elbowed me in the chest. As soon as that happened my chest started hurting and it hurt a little bit when I breathed, and it hurt terribly when I shot the basketball. Later I started feeling pain on the back area directly behind my chest. Right now my chest still hurts a little bit but hurts a lot when I sneeze. Does anybody know whats wrong or if its serious? Could anything be broken?

go to your primary care doctor and see if they do an x-ray. i had 1 broken rib and 1 dislocated rib in the area where your rib cage goes into your back. anyway... it hurt really bad and they did an x-ray and saw the broken one. and they popped the other one back in place and gave me some really good pain killers. but, i was not able to do certain things for a long period of time.
good luck!!
