Hi everyone! I am heading to Scotland in 10 days. I have my entire trip planned out with one part missing. I am going to the Isle of Skye for a couple of days and I can't decide where to make my base. I was planning on Portree but I have heard it is kind of disappointing. Any other ideas? I will not have a car. I also won't be hiking or taking nature walks or anything like that. Let me know if anybody has any suggestions. I would really appreciate it.

I stayed at Eilean Iarmain a few years ago. It was glorious! It's in a beautiful bay and has wonderful views over all the weather that Skye can offer...

You might try a B&B near Dunvegan Castle.
