That way he gets more truthful answers. Kind of like when a reporter sneaks up on someone and sticks a microphone in his or her face, asking accusatory questions that start with "ISN'T IT TRUE THAT..."

It may be unexpected to us here on earth, but it is never unexpected to God. From before we were ever even conceived by our parents, God had our days numbered. We do not know the number of days each of us will have, but God does. He has a specific plan for us to accomplish on earth, and when this is completed, He calls us home to heaven with Him. For some it may be only a few days (infants) for others it may be 100 years of better.

It is hard when we lose someone close to us, especially when ti is unexpected, but we can take comfort in knowing that it wasn't unexpected to God, and He will provide us comfort.

He doesn't......

Job 14:1 states: “Man, born of woman, Is short-lived and glutted with agitation."

'But isn't God powerful enough to end suffering now?' you may ask. Some faithful men in Bible times wondered about that. The prophet Habakkuk asked God: "Why is it that you look on those dealing treacherously, that you keep silent when someone wicked swallows up someone more righteous than he is?" However, Habakkuk did not jump to hasty conclusions. He said: "I shall keep watch, to see what he will speak by me." Later, God assured him that at an "appointed time," He would end suffering. (Habakkuk 1:13; 2:1-3) We must therefore be patient, waiting for God to end wickedness at his appointed time.

Because people believing that God takes people unexpectedly makes them feel better than facing the fact that people just die and there's nothing just or divine about it.

This is a sweeping statement because the majority of people depart this earthly life through old age. For whatever reason we 'die' ( it is the earthly body that dies, the soul lives on) when we die depends if it is our time to go. If we have learnt all the lessons we were reincarnated for then this earthly life comes to an end and we return to the spirit world (or Heaven). Our mission is complete.

We all have a mission here. We live with a pre-established time even before we are born. The way we pass away, normally is pre-established too. The only death not pre-established is suicide.

Death is sad at any time, especially for those who stay here, missing their beloved ones, but death is just a door to another life for those who departed. Life continues and that's that simple.

My religion is Spiritism.
Peace!

How do you want it to be ? Oh i know how about some mail or he could tap you on the shoulder and say your next, email you , send it to you telepathicly. How far in advance do you want to know ? People who are terminaly ill are told at times how much time they have. It is not fun at all, nor knowing is better.

It is only unexpected to people not to God.
We come from God and we go back to God, I believe we all have a time and don't go until it is our time and when it is our time we go.

He has His reasons that aren't for us to know. We just trust that God knows what He's doing, and has a reason that will be revealed to us in His time.

Anticipation.

If you knew exactly when things happened it wouldn't be any fun now would it?
