If you like someone and would like them to notice you more what is the best way to go about it. How to strike up conversation more...etc - is there anyone who is really good at this?

Look clean..tidy and nice looking..think of something to say and flirt flirt flirt..it also helps if you get someone to put in a good word for you.

First off is be yourself when striking up a conversation another thing that you should do is smile occasionally but not to the point where you become a weirdo but a small smile would do. This would make the other person feel a little more comfortable. It would be best to wear bright colors because studies have shown that it perks you up for example, men-light green shirt or for women a bold orange or red would be nice. Another thing to do is a nice smell of perfume or cologne. Don't put too much on that the smell is strong but just a hint of it would be perfect. Last, is to stand or sit straight with out slouching because your posture tells them what type of person you are. Overall, just try your best.

Seriously, confidence is the best, but not too confident. No one wants an egotistical ***. I would think twice about a guy who was too comfortable striking up a convo out of the blue, it would tell me he is way too practiced. It's okay to be a little nervous. Saying Hi and introducing yourself is a good way to get started, it will be awkward no matter what so you might as well prepare for that. If you don't get the response you're looking for, don't dwell on it and move along. Don't embarrass yourself by sticking around when you can tell they aren't interested.

Speak up more in groups and smile a lot. Another good thing is actually to do what someone else said (even though I think they were joking) - wear bright colours. Red is good as it is a passionate colour and helps to draw attention. It's like red lipstick shows desire and sexuality. Bright warm colours in general are good (pink, red, yellow).
But mostly you have to speak up (not just to him) and smile. Make sure your lovely personality shines through. If he still doesn't notice you then he's not worth your time.

try and find out more about the person. and strike up a conversation about this. if you share the something in common they will remember you!!! Also, make them laugh, always works!!

First of all make sure you feel confident & happy in yourself (not cocky though) wear something you feel good in, smell nice (not too strong though lol), then if they catch your eye - smile, take your time in making your way over to them and once you have their attention go and say hi - keep it light and funny if you can, don't be over keen... relax and remember they are probably just as nervous and excited to be talking to you too :o) best of luck !

try and do a bit of background research to what theyre interested in and talk about that, also ask questions about them, everyone likes to talk about themselves and you will find out more about them!
also you dont have to wear bright colours to get noticed, just wear a different bag or belt to the normal, and people will notice and maybe even compliment you!

Usually I would go up and say I like your tie or what ever it may be. Just be confidant but don't look desperate if they don't seem interested, just smile and walk away... Don't dwell on it.
