Recently I've felt really angry and I didn't want to be around people. Even the most simple of things can throw me off balance. I'm scared because normally I'm a really happy person. Can someone help me??

I would talk to my doctor if I were you.

I don't know if this is it, but I have depression, and one of the main signs for me is that I become overly irritated by everything and I lose interest in people and activities I've always enjoyed.

Talk to your doc. If that's not it, maybe he/she can help you figure out what's going on. What you're going through doesn't have to be permenant, but you should try to figure out what's going on and get it treated so you can get back to being yourself.

Good luck.

Depression often presents as irritabilty rather than actual sadness, particularly with men, but not exclusively. Excessive stress can also result in increased irritability and a need to withdraw in order to reduce the demands you are experiencing. If this is atypical for you and lasts for more than a few days, and seems to be without a precipitant, you may want to see your primary doctor first to rule out any physiological factors (hyperthyroidism, hormone imbalances, etc.) and then consult a therapist for further evaluation.

You may be under extreme stress and anxiety or have trouble with anger management. I suggest mayby getting help from an anger mangment program. Or getting a psychologist can also help find the roots of your anger problem as well. If none of these work you can talk to a psychietrist about taking medication that reduce aggression such as rispradol. However I think your angry state may be temperory and as a result of extreme stress so talk to a counsilor or psychologist about it. Otherwise take deep breaths and meditate.

I can't really tell you what's wrong because I have no idea. But I know exactly what you mean. It happens to me too. Like anything and everything people do bothers me and I just rather be alone. I go from happy to mad in seconds for no reason sometimes... :-\

The only thing I can think of is possibly a condition that makes the patient overly angry. I don't know the name of it but I know it exists, sorry I can't be of any more help.

you may possibily have been dealling with some very stressful situations lately and rather then expressing your emotions, have been supressing them to the point where they have been suddenly exposed the impact is simply overbearing.
