It sounds like you're just nitpicking because you don't like the guy. If you snitch you'll look petty. I'd just have a word with him if I were you (assuming you're genuinely concerned about the safety issue).

Is running really such a big deal? I used to run through the office all the time if the phone was ringing and i was not at my desk. However, if you really think it is a big deal, do something off the record. I would personally, if I thought it was a big deal, send out an email to the whole office with the health and safety reg's in again and say that you are just sending it out so that everyone is aware of the health and safety regs for everyone's protection. If he does it again, have a quiet word and if he continues, then bring it up with a line manager on an unofficial basis.
But really, is it worth it? You will just look like a fool in my opinion as it is only a small breach in my view.

I think you should certainly report him, try and get him fired if possible. I mean how awful of him to be running through the office - he could trip over a cable, a computer could go flying through the air and hit someone on the head, he could knock over an innocent pot plant. Thank goodness we have health and safety committees at work, we'd probably all be dead by now if fine people like yourself weren't looking out for potential death traps around the office

Hi!
Consequences.
Consequences.
Consequences.
Think of the consequences of him doing this on a regular basis.
His running through the office one day could create an awful of train of unfortunate events - it could even cause a very bad accident.
You need to nip this in the bud NOW!!
What would happen if everyone decided they'd 'go for a run through the office'?
Thank goodness there's people like you out there looking out for everyone else!
Besides, it's your duty and responsibility as a member of the Health and Safety Committee.
Best of luck!

I'm bored too. Safety is safety. Regardless if you like the bloke or not he could have caused harm with his unsafe actions.
P.S. What the holy heck was so important that he was running?

You should follow the rules of the health and saftey commitee. If you need to speak up about someone running then do so. If it is not important and is just about his personality I think you should leave it alone.

If you did report him and it was to me I would say 'good job, there's a man who is obviously working hard'. Let's face it, no one is really going to take running in the office as a serious offence and you will just end up looking like a Muppet for reporting him.

Maybe your being set up--Office people doo that. So he ran through the office and your busy to busy to notice. He did not create a health and S problem, nothing happened. Maybe he needed to peee desparately.
Are you still at school? Must not run girls and boys.

Oh come on Cut the bloke some slack!
It is your duty to make sure that safety is priority so couldn't you just (out the kindness of your heart) remind him that it is very dangerous to run in the premises and that if you see him doing it again you will have to take action.
