Good deeds aren't just enough for you to go heaven.
This situation is quite similar when after you ate, you feel full but you wasn't satisfy. Your mouth still craving for more foods to shut your stomach wild desire. In terms of deeds and going to heaven, there are so many factors we have to take into consideration. What i am thinking the most is our sincerity of doing the deeds. Sincerity represents broad of things which as well includes of faith, true, and humble, and etc. If going to heaven was simply judge by good deeds, even a devil also can accomplish such thing easily. Devils can simply make deeds by being not true/sincere. If is the same thing like how we judge a book. We cannot simply judge by its cover. Good luck and take care!

That's really the whole point of it. God set a rule before He even created humanity that sin must be paid for with blood not 'good deeds'. Humans came along and decided they didn't like that rule so they want Him to change it let a few Boy Scout moments gloss over the fact that we think we know better than the creator of the universe. God countered with something even easier: believe that Jesus is His son and Jesus sacrifice for you covers the sins. But that's not good enough, you STILL want good deeds to get your ticket punched for Heaven when you don't have to do even that. It doesn't sound like God could ever win with you.

There's no heaven. Not the way people think. After death, we are all going to the same place, where we are going to see the good and the bad deeds. After sometime there, with the good spirits, we all will be born again, until we get to be a better person. Peace!

When Jesus died on the cross for our sins that was all that was needed. We don't have to do certain things in order to get into Heaven. All we have to do is accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and truly believe in our hearts that He died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and three days later He rose again to sit with our Father in Heaven. If you believe those three fundamental truths, and truly repent of your sins, you are saved and will be with God in Heaven. Good deeds alone will never assure your eternity without salvation.

It's not based on good deeds but of sacrifice. Oprah can help all she can with giveaways and kids in Africa but if she doesn't have a prayer life and a personal relationship with God, she could be in default. Read in the Bible about The Rich Young Man (Matthews 19:16-30)

I consistently ask your self this too. I hear it quiet in many circumstances "i'm a sturdy guy or woman!" It has no longer something to do with being a sturdy guy or woman. no person is sturdy 24hrs/day 7days/week 365days/12 months for all times. If it replace into a possibility to be a real sturdy guy or woman then why did Jesus ought to come and prepare us the procedures of God? After coaching us why did He ought to die? He might have observed as upon the angels at each time to rescue Himself. He did no longer because of the fact He knew that it replace into because of the fact of His death that the remission of unique sin replace into a possibility on condition that He allowed Himself to be killed. there are such distinctive verses in the Bible that cope with this very questioning. "For God so enjoyed the international..." you probably did notice it would not say sturdy people? It says the international. "no longer of works least any guy ought to boast." this is the place I even have problems with folk telling me their sturdy people. they're boasting while they might desire to tell you that! in the event that they have been sturdy people it might prepare right away without you having to remind everybody how sturdy you're!

Because Jesus provided the way of salvation....repentance and acceptance of Him as Lord and Savior. Good deeds can never cover sin. Only blood can wash it away thus a sacrifice was needed.

Because Christianity would rather reward faith in Jesus than actual good deeds.

You see, a vile evil person who's killed dozens of people can go to heaven if he honestly repents before he dies and accepts Jesus as his "Lord and Savior" but if you're the best human being who ever lived but simply don't believe in Jesus then you're out of luck.
Sorry game over and you get to burn for all eternity in Hell to roast in never ending torment simply for not believing in Jesus.

Remember the Christian god 'loves' you.

Why will so many Christians deny the facts about their own religion?

No belief in Jesus = Hell.

Clearly it's all nonsense.
That's why I'm Atheist.

Paul writes in Romans -

Ro 3:22 , 24 This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

Salvation is based on Faith, not works. No one is capable of doing enough good to be worthy of the presence of God. We are saved by his grace and mercy through accepting Christ as Savior.

What good deeds have you done that make your worthy of spending eternity with Christ? Can you think of any person on the face of his planet who has done enough good works to make them worthy of such an honor? I can’t. I certainly know that I am not worthy. None of us are worthy to touch the hem of Christ’s robe.

Even so, he reaches out to us and takes our hand. He willinging suffered every manner of humiliation and torment on our behalf.

He is the only way, the only light in the darkness.

We can’t buy our way into his presence and we can’t work our way into his presence. We can only accept by Faith, repent and live as he taught us to live.

And I will tell you that it is a wonderful thing to feel the peace that he gives, the love and comfort, to know that no matter what obstacles we face, he is at our side.

People may not understand our situation but Christ always understands because he willingly submitted to every form of humiliation and torment.

This is the only path that brings peace and understanding.

But even if you have zero Faith in Christ you shouldn’t stop doing good deeds. It is always better to help others and to focus on the needs of others, instead of thinking about ourselves. Bravo to you!

Keep up the good deeds and even if you can’t believe, well at least you are making the lives of others better. And perhaps one day …

Because heaven is a free gift from God so man can't boast about his good deeds.
