That is why arranged marriages are long lasting then love marriage. Because in arranged marriage parents take care of the age gap but in love it is mostly companion or class fellow. & age gap is mental standard gap which can not cause clash. Clash means less longivity.

the longer they live depends on if they keep working or just lay around.. if you keep working it keeps them busy and they usually forget how old they are ... i have a fatherinlaw who is 70yrs. old and a motherinlaw who is 50... and he stills works and acts like a 50yr old.. but it depends on how active they stay.
