Check with the local Lindsey Rents All and see what they have. It might not be exactly a mason jar, but they will have a nice variety. You are much better off renting these things. What ever will you do with 200 mason jars? Give jelly forever as gifts to the family?

Instead of votive candles use tea lights and some tin foil on the bottom to reflect the light. Tea lights won't get as hot as votives. They also have battery operated tea lights that flicker like real lights. You can find then at Garden Ridge, Hobby Lobby, Michaels and probably any craft store. They come packages of 6 or 10 and you can probably find them for around $9.99 or so. If you are worried about the candles burning out too soon or getting to hot I would go with the battery operated ones!

if you want true mason jars then the grocery stores, and some smaller home outfitt shops should have them. if not try the thrift shops and consignment shops.
however, if you want the trendy craft style jars then you should be looking at michaels crafts, joanns fabrics, any large craft store should have them.
ok, now you've got my curiousity up, come back here and tell us what you are going to do with 200 mason jars for your reception. i am assuming candles and ?????
good luck kiddo! have a lovely wedding.

Try this site:
http://www.specialtybottle.com
They have quite a few varieties, and those prices are quite a bit cheaper than the ones in the wedding catalogues.
Good luck!
P.S. I found some for a halloween craft project at Big Lots, but that was in the fall when people would be canning fruit, so you may not have any luck this time of year.

I went through this a well...
http://www.lonestarcandlesupply.com/containers.html
these guys were the cheapest I could find.
I actually found out it was cheap to buy theme candles off of eBay when you price out all the supplies you need to make them. I think I paid about $1.25-1.50 per candle on eBay.
And they came in a bag with a hand tag made for me!!! Also the lady included the ribbon to tie them. I would search around on eBay too....
Mine are the Perfect Pair and it's to pear candles in a bag but she also had tons of other themes. Like champagne glasses that are candles... and everything comes in a box or bag which makes it look nice. Email people and ask for quotes for 200 pieces... that's what I did!!

Surprsingly alot of smaller grocery stores carry them. Not sure of where about you are, but if there is a Winco (grocery store) around you anywhere I know they carry mason jars. Try looking on the baking isle of your grocery store or talk to the manager. They could probably special order them for you. You can also check craft stores.
Good Luck!

There are a lot of places. Your local grocery store for one, if they don't have them in stock just ask them to order for you. Most stores get stock in at least a couple of times a week so you wouldn't have to wait very long. Plus due to the high cost of shipping they are much cheaper than buying from a supplier. You might also try your local Ace Hardware or even a wal-mart or dollar store. Otherwise if you live close to a candle supplier you might be able to pick up your order and thus not have to pay for shipping. Just do a search for candle suppliers in your area.

Check your local antique shops and pawn shops if that does net work out for you then try these websites. http://www.specialtybottle.com/
www.smarter.com
When looking for things in bulk for your wedding and looking for them cheap you can get the best deals simply by searching the net. I found 100 bottles of wedding bubbles for half the price than it would have been in the store. Chances are you can get stuff for wholesale prices or discount if you go through the net.
Good luck

well actually they are hard to find... wal-mart used to sell them yes but not any longer didn't have enough customers to purchased the jars... try like a Ace Hardware or a flea market ask questions there and they might be able to tell you of a friend they know.. or go some where that sells candles and tell the problem your having and they may help you get them.. good luck...
