I lived in puerto rico for quite a while. One of the most beautiful beaches is actually on a small island off the eastern coast of Puerto Rico. The island is called vieques and it is GORGEOUS. Heaven on earth. There are a couple of beaches I would suggest. If your having a large number of people then Sun Bay is your best option. Its convenient has plenty of room for parking with just a short walk to a long palm dotted beach - did I mention there are wild horses that like to hang out at this beach - its amazing! For something more intimate I would suggest Navio bay its small and GORGEOUS- my favorite beach hands down. Both are on the South side of Vieques. You can look up pictures and information at

on the major island, i'd recommend Fajardo or Rio Grande (close to the Melia inn). they have acceptable beaches. on the offshore islands, Culebra's Flamenco sea coast is probably the most acceptable white sand, crystal clean water sea coast in the area for a wedding ceremony.

I'm not sure but I can tell you that you have to make sure the beach is clean and that everyone going is comfortable going to the beach. Not all people like the beach because of the sand, water, people, environment, etc.
