One for Good & one for evil.
And thats all there was to serve.
Now the good one was All Good, no evil at all
& the bad one wasn'nt totally evil, because it too knew it could be an imitation of an angel of light.
So the bad one gave rewards to those who would serve it, sometimes it would heal you for a season, or give you power or some supernatural thing that you would believe is only unique to you, or whatever you sinfully desired.
The Good One wanted you soo much to be on his team, but He could not Lie & He would not decieve you to be on His team, in fact all in all He's sounding rather boring. No Temptation to do things that will eventually harm you, no power trips that would cause hurt to your marrige family or anyone you knew, no deciept, no lies, no swearing, no extramarital sex, no drugs, but yes a good life where you have your ups & downs, to build your Character & lead you to the best LIFE that He has stored up for you.
Who are you going to follow? ....

Josh 1:8 CHOOSE this day who you are going to serve.
The evil one knew that the Good one would be the victor in the end, but he wanted to drag as many people down as he possibly can, So He preyed on mans sinful nature to win them over to death, but little did his followers know
.......he was DEATH itself.
Please do not try this to your kids, but yes prewarn them of what is written in the sciptures & is going to happen. I f you here this message & do nothing about it You Will be accountable for it!

GLS, The good one is constantly forgiving people thier wrongs, but you cannot decide to serve the Good one when the time suits you, when the evil one has spat you out of his mouth, it just might be too late!

The Good one. But it's worth the effort it takes to get the Best Life. No matter how much fun the evil side may look.

But lets add something. The evil one has forgot to tell you that when judgement day comes and after this life is over you spend eternity with him in a place of suffering.
Where as the good one you spend the rest of eternity (think about eternity by the way) in a place of happiness in joy where there is no more sorrow.
Now choose.

MikeM beat me to it. I was going to respond with the same story.
But, I serve neither of them, as I do not believe in their existance. But, to many, that statement will inherently say that I chose the evil one.
That is what I hear. "Atheism is just satan winning by taking another soul from god". But, hey, they can think what they want.

I go with the one who doesn't lie, the one who has the true love, the one who created my soul and gave life to my spirit, and gave me choice to be born a redeem person in this life of learning experiences. God Almighty

Awww ... that was a long minute. Anyway, my choice is rather easy, because the good one, (the Good one in capitals, behold) has hypocritical morals. Therefore, it seems I have no choice but to go with the evil one.
What a good thing that both those forces are only products of your fantasy, and in the real universe there are no such things.

I follow a narrow path, that only strays from the straight and narrow occasionally.
When I do err I do it properly :-)
As the good force includes forgiveness, I feel comfortable with my path in life

The Good. However, you didn't mention anything about if the Good one forgives us if we serve the evil for a while.

The good one. That evil one would be more controlling.Where as the good one would let me make my own decisions. And my own mistakes. Definately, the Good one.

Two Wolves
An old Cherokee chief is teaching his grandson about life:
"A fight is going on inside me," he said to the boy. "It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves.
"One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, self-doubt, and ego.
"The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope,
serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.
"This same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?"
The old chief simply replied, "The one you feed."
