Cucumber is a surprising beauty secret for the skin, with its hydrating, nourishing and astringent properties. Cucumbers have the same pH as the skin so they help to restore the skin’s protective and natural acid mantle. You could cut them and put cucumber coins straight onto your skin to sooth and soften

to be honest...cucumbers do thing for you...sorry even after all the hype..it is good for fiber and cooling the skin...that's it. They are eased on the eyes for puffiness..nothing to do with the break down of the cucumber...but only because it retains water and flexible for the curvatures of the eyes area. The sweet fragrance is in almost everything. It a marketing tool. If you read about them..they are better eaten than on your skin. Try using a papaya/pineapple enzyme peel. it works very fast healthy...and nourishing at the same time. Anything cold you put on your face...will work because it closes the pores, the skin gets taunt and over all looks good. So of course the cucumber will work in that area... for the moment...but as for making things better...it had been proven it does nothing.

I agree with Amy. My mom is using it every nights, and it really helps restore her skin, makes it smoother and softer. In general, all the natural fruits are good for your skin, like cucumbers, papayas, carrots, etc...even though yogurt. There is also another benefit of using them for your skin, that you can eat them after you're done...LOL...(don't try it yourself alone)
