I think all citrus juices are interchangeable...so if something calls for lemon, you could easily use lime or even orange. It all depends on your taste.

While tart like Lemon Juice, Lime Juice has a distinctly different flavor. In most cases, you can use these two interchangeably.

every single one I can think of! All lemon juice can be replaced with lime for a classy new upgrade to an old fave. Lime Bars? yep, sold like hotcakes in my old bakery. Lime Poppy Seed Muffins? yep. Lime Pepper chicken? yep. Limeade. In guacamole to preserve color (lemon juice is more often recommended) all latino dishes work better with lime. I love lime, can u tell? lol...

I've found that they are interchangeable in most things. The lime gives quite a different flavor, but still complements most recipes where lemon is used.

Make a Lime Merengue pie instead of Lemon Merengue pie. It's just gorgeous! Quite simply, substitute one for the other.

I treat them as interchangeable. It really just depends on whether I want the full-on tartness of the lemon or I'm using it to replace salt or if I want the slightly sweet and fresh flavor of lime.

i used it in my pumpkin pie recipe. the recipe called for lemon juice and all i had was lime. i thought it might be bc of hte chemical reaction while baking instead of a flavor thing. i was right....no one at the meal noticed :)

It all depends on the purpose of the juice? For exmple in recipes such as sugar syrup either can be used as it is the acidity to stop it setting that is required not the taste.

I would think all of them. I cannot think of an exception, unless the clear taste of lemon, and not lime, is desired.
