You should know when it's enough by the way you feel each day about your life. If your sad and lonely and in a bad mood, this pretty much answers your question. Life can be short, so you need to be enjoying it as much as possible! Loving someone is fine, but it's a two way street. Your spouse has to be giving you everything you need to be content and happy. If your not getting this, end it! You will feel sad at first by ending your relationship but you will get over it in time. Love yourself and set goals to do what makes you the happiest in your life. Listen to your inner feelings about what you feel. Hope this gives you some in site on how things should be. Cocoa

Hi, well I learned from my mistakes on that one let me tell ya. I knew enough was enough when you just keep believing and believing and having the faith and not a dam thing changes and I am sitting there trying to hope for change.

There is no sense in feeling guilty because someone can't change their life style or the way they treat you. When you choose to be with someone and you start to see the same thing happening over and over again don't expect a change because we are all who we are and nothing can change that.

Letting go of someone you love has got to be the hardest thing to do. You must have doubts or you would not have posted such a question. I think you have reached the end. You already know that you have had enough or you would not be asking. Listen to your gut feeling and let that be your guide.

If you are miserable and just hanging on for no reason at all other than that you can't stand them being with someone else, it is time to let go. A good relationship should make you happy not upset. If you find yourself constantly upset over your relationship then there is something wrong. Go find someone who will treat you right.

That's a tough call for all of us no matter how much we may care for that 'significant other' and maybe also a matter of tolerance levels. I gauge such issues on the basis of how a partner makes me feel....and if I'm feeling extremely neglected, they're emotionally unavailable and seem generally uninterested in what is going on between the two of us it may be time. It only takes one incidence of being unloyal or unfaithful for me to say enough is enough as that indicates lack of character traits that I value. Good luck with making the decision that is right for you.

You know it is enough when you just aren't happy. If you keep thinking it might be enough then it probably is. If you can't look into your future and see them then it is enough

when it's ruining your life and preventing you from living...when you realize you're living for an idea rather than something real...when you realize you're worth more
