here is: I have a friend,(platonic,nonsexual),who been friends
for a year he much older than like 13 years,any way when we
met i was split from my ex and then decided to go back and
then like 7 months we split now through this whole ordeal this
man continue to be there in everyway except sexual.now i
have a new man who I been dating and this guy is ok except
he has a jail record and no job,my friend that i knew for a year
says he is using me,and a bum,wants me to leave,now i
don,t love him but enjoy some thing about him,now my friend
who i had for a year dosen,t want to talk to me because i
haven,t left him.do you think that with my friend that he want
to be with me or he just care for me to do better?

you say this guy you're dating now is okexcept he has no job and has a jail record. What exactly is ok about him, he sounds like a full blown loser to me. Your friend is either hurt that you won't trust his judgment, or he cares about you too much to see you throw your life away with this loser you're dating, or he is try to get you to dump the loser by makeing his friendship contingent on you not being with the loser. That said, I don't think he has any feelings for you except as a sister.

Well, have you been used? Is he really a bum? i dont judge ppl just because they've done bad thing in the past(who hasn't), the fact that he has a jail record means he has paid his dept to society, the problem is, society has a tendency to misstrust ppl with jail record(go figure), no wonder he doesnt have job, prolly because of what he WAS, not of what he is.
So dont pass judgment on to others, instead observe them,and decide what works for you, and above all things act with love, not fear.

well it sounds like your friend really cares about you but it could be that he wants to be your boyfriend. The best thing to do is ask your friend why he is so bothered by you dating this other guy and then ask him if he wants to be with you. I think you should get rid of the guy you are dating cuz to me he does sound like he is using you. Tell him to get a job.

SlOW DOWN! You are in so much conflict. Forget these guys for a while and focus on yourself. Do not be a relationship jumper. Do not give your time to men in jail.

It's hard to say whether your friend wants more from you than a friendship but either way it's clear that he cares for you. I think you should take his advice.

Get away from the jailbird; your "friend" is right. He doesn't want to see you hurt. You friend want's what is best for you....why does it have to be "he wants to be with you"? You are being used.
