I'd be kicking my own a** all the way back to Robert Yates and Doug Yates asking for another chance! I think he'd do better in the car then Rudd! I think Yates should do it too, but only if Jarrett will sign w/ one stipulation.. A commercial w/ Dale Jarrett eating a snickers saying "TOYOTA SUCKS!" while a UPS truck blows up in the background.. That'd be sweet.

Probably only half as bad as Toyota is kicking their A** for throwing their fate in the hands of Mikey. After all Jarret hasn't been burning up the track with Yates the past few years either so running poorly is not a new thing for him,in fact he really hasn't run very good since UPS became his sponsor(probably some more a** going on there).I do find it amusing that after all the hype and fear about Toyota coming in and spending tons of money and making it more expensive to race that they can barely get any of their cars in the field.Jarret will soon have used all his provisionals and he wont even be in the field every week.Mikey is showing his lack of talent every time they qualify the only semi bright spot for Toyota has been Dave Blaney. So I imagine you could line up all the folks involved in Toyota's Cup program and let them have a circle butt kicking.

I wouldnt say anyone is kicking anyones a$$ for moving to Toyota. I look at it a different way though, I would rather be a plank owner on a new team, and take a risk. I wont second guess the choices they made, I think it was a good choice. Who knows one day they might all be on a 2 hour dvd titled, Toyota the Championship Years. I would rather risk it all and lose, than never risk anything and gain nothing. Thats what these guys are doing they are risking everything they have to make it work, and if it starts working they will reap 10 times the reward than they would have by playing it safe.

I don't think it's all that. I just feel that Toyota has jumped into the fire pit thinking that they would come out winning and the owners they have chosen to go with, aren't all that swift. Also, isn't Jarret a little over the hill, so to speak. cs dh jajmo kamusati ha so, bokuwajamita kawasato jin. Biga mitakeo.

Trust me, not one of the drivers that went to Toyota did so with the thought of winning a championship in the next few years. Toyota is the only manufacturer in NASCAR that is profitable at the corporate level right now. The drivers they have hired are being compensated handsomely for their services. Dale Jarrett probably has to borrow one of the UPS trucks once in awhile to take deposits to the bank. I'm glad he could cash in on his past success (and 6 champion's provisionals) because he was not in a position to grab any of the premier rides before he retires.

He isn't kickin his *** at all. I used to like DJ, but for the past several years, all he has done is ride around in mid pack collecting his sponsor dollars. The Toyota deal was nothing more than a retirement program for him. Toyota paid him $20 million so that they could guarantee getting in the race because of his provisionals. Luckily, NASCAR changed it to where he can only use that 6 times. Those are almost used up, then you can look for him to leave right after quals... just like Mikey and the rest of Mikey Wrecked Racing!
Bottom line, DJ is laughing all the way to the bank!
rubbin is racin!

Jarrett was a great driver, key word "was". His career was finished before he ever went with Michael to Toyota. Dale Jarrett may as well quit after this season. He only makes races because of past champion provisionals.
Better to quit while he's still respected vs continuing to suck as a driver like Sterling Marlin and Kyle Petty. Both are nice guys but they have no chance of ever winning a race again. Dale will continue to suck with Toyota as will Michael.

By the looks of his finishes so far this season, pretty hard. At least last season he was a contender to win races. I don't even think I've heard his name mentioned at all. Maybe he should race the truck. He'd probably do much better in that then the Toyota.

think about what the TOYOTA GUYS have in common...michael and jarret are both on a downward spiral...if not for toyota they both would of faded out of nascar and our memories...and michael is realizing he was riding little Es shirt tail ...they HAD to got to toyota!!!! It was the only way that could squeeze out a little more smack!! neither one will be a star in nascar again.

jarrett has been on his way out for 3 or 4 years now.i think he knows his career is winding down.
sure i think it bothers him that he chose to go with a team owner that has struggled his whole career.
but on the other hand when u are on ur way out and nobody else will hire u,u have to do what u have to do.
jarrett was a hell of a driver back in his day.i am not taking that away from him.his problem is he is with a LOSER for a team owner.
but hey, look at it on the bright side,he is in the races and his team owner is not, thank god for provisionals.
honestly i dont think toyota has anything to do with it.
toyota will come around.it will take a couple of years, but they will.
it took them a couple of years in the truck series and look at them now, they dominate the truck series.
one more thing............when dodge came back to nascar it took them 2 years to get a win,and it was a rainout at michigan.
