Islam does not accept the concept of priesthood and clergy acting as mediators between God and humans. Islam teaches that one does not have to confess one's sins to a priest in order to get forgiveness. One can simply confess one's sins to God without any human intervention, seek forgiveness, and God will grant it. . Islam teaches that wherever one maybe, one can pray to God, confess to God, seek God's help and forgiveness, and God will certainly respond. No human intervention is needed, no special place or time is necessary. God is always very close.
Whereas the imams/scholars/mullahs are concerned then they just provide us with authentic hadiths of our prophet(saw) and explain us matters which we may not understand such as divorce/how to pray/wat is sunnah etc and a mullah or maulvi is the one who teaches us the holy quran, they jus guide us in the mattesr of islam.

Islam is not a new religion, but the same truth that God
revealed through all His prophets to every people. For a
fifth of the world's population, Islam is both a religion and
a complete way of life. Muslims follow a religion of peace,
mercy, and forgiveness, and the majority have nothing to do
with the extremely grave events which have come to be
associated with their faith.

We have Imams who we follow in prayer, who teach us about Islam. There is a one to one relationship between God. Which I don't see it being different from other religions, but yes we don't have to confess to a priest or believe that someone died for our sins. Instead we go directly to God and say "please forgive me" and just try to lead a good life.

Yes, ma'am. We do, however, have a prayer leader who generally leads Muslims at the masjid for prayer and gives the Friday (Jumaah) religious talk. Generally, in any group of Muslims, the one who knows (able to recite Qur'an correctly also) would be the Imam. Our relationship with Allah (SWT) is strictly one on one.

The doctrine and the easy utility of it, got here upon in the sixty six books of the Bible is the only authentic faith. church homes on the different hand could seek for out this authentic faith and make it their very own. opposite to what some human beings instruct, church homes are extra and much less organic, or maybe the purest church in the international is blended with some blunders.

Yes that is true. There are scholars and there are Imams who deliver the prayers at the mosque, but they do not have the same status we associate with priests and ministers.
