It is impossible to govern the world without God and the Bible.
GEORGE WASHINGTON

The whole inspiration of our civilization springs from the teachings of Christ and the lessons of the prophets. To read the Bible for these fundamentals is a necessity of American life.
HERBERT HOOVER

In regard to this great book, I have but to say, it is the best gift God has given to man. All the good Savior gave to the world was communicated through this book. But for it we could not know right from wrong. All things most desirable for man's welfare, here and hereafter, are to found portrayed in it.
ABRAHAM LINCOLN

Hold fast to the Bible as the sheet-anchor of your liberties; write its precepts in your hearts and practice them in your lives. To the influence of this book we are indebted for all the progress made in true civilization, and to this we must look as our guide in the future. Righteousness exalteth a nation; but sin is a reproach to any people.
ULYSSES S. GRANT

Don't you think I could find 4 quotes of world leaders who don't rely on the bible?

As to Grant;

the quote is not as it should be as it leaves out several lines and points.

What Grant said was:

"My advise to Sundays schools, no matter what denomination,is: Hold fast to the Bible as the sheet-anchor of your liberties; write its precepts in your hearts and practice them in your lives. To the influence of this book we are indebted for all the progress made in true civilization, and to this we must look as our guide in the future" "Righteousness exalteth a nation; but sin is a reproach to any people""

Address June 1876

So we see that it was specific to a group and it is just as he stated such, he also credits the last lines to another.

As to Lincoln:

The situation and first parts and end of the message is missing. But here it does not change what he said. It was September 1864 on the occasion of "Collered People" presenting him with a Bible.

As to George Washington: not his quote it appears.
They Never Said It: A Book of Fake Quotes, Misquotes, and Misleading Attributions By Paul F. Boller 1990

But two are rather good quotes if slightly out of context,
the Hoover quote sounds like Hoover, and the Washington is not what he ever said.

I believe the basic truth, here, is that all of our laws are basically laws found in the Bible. (Grant would be more believable in his thoughts if he had not been an alcoholic who sired a great many half Native American children in Humboldt Co, CA.).....Lincoln would be more believeable in his thinking, had he not freed the slaves in order to split America, even more, in order to win the Civil War. All of us have our flaws.

I think it just goes to show how far America as a whole has turned away from the our founding fathers ideas and values. Greed is the number one evil of America. Suing is the number two evil of America. Both will have to be abolished in order for America to grow again.

George Washington's quote suggests that he supports the unification of church and state. Abe Lincoln's and Grant's quotes do the same.

I think all these quotes are pro-christian and I completely approve. How ever I do believe that you don't have to be affiliated with any specific religion to appreciate these quotes.
