I need ideas on how to celebrate a 10th Wedding Anniv. I am looking for something inexpensive and simple. Maybe something over a weekend. Having a party is out as is vow renewal or having a nice dinner out.

Other creative ideas would be appreciated.

Is there a place in your yard, hopefully near a window she looks out frequently where you could plant a beautiful Rose bush together, or lilac bush?

Does she like music? Make her a compilation CD of all "your" songs - or her very favorites. No PC or CD burner ask a friend to help.

Make a photo album with pictures of your life over the last 10 years - try to be chronological, and write special notes about your fond memories.

Vow renewal doesn't have to be a huge deal...we plan to do ours next year, in our home with just our original maid of honor and best man and probably 3 or 4 couples we are very close to. Then just have cocktails & hor'deuvrres after. Hubby doesn't know but I plan to get a miniatur version of our original wedding cake.

Congratulations and good luck!!

Congratulations!

You said that party is out but you can organize some thematic one.

last year our good friends celebrated 10th Wedding Anniversary and they organized an 80s Party in some club. We all had to be dressed in 80s style, you know, pink make --up, big plastic earring, silver shoes... there was 80s music played, disco, pop... It was amazing, we all gone crazy and really had a good time. And it was not expensive because all of us had some old 80s singles and old 80s dresses in the closet.
I wish you to have a good time too, whatever you decide.
