How did you find out about his "naughty" past? If is was through him then he is really trying to start over fresh with you and is being open and honest and this would be a guy that you can trust. Follow your heart. If he was not honest with you from the begining you would have room to doubt and all that jazz but it seems like you found a diamond in the rough. Best of luck and God bless!

Well I'm not sure what kind of bad stuff you're talking about but if he's a nice guy and he treats you well (which it sounds like he does) I would give him the benefit of the doubt. The last thing you want to do is call him a liar and ruin your relationship. So until he shows signs of relapsing into whatever bad stuff he did before I would let the whole thing go. Remember people can change with the right incentive to do so.

Talk to him about his past and see if you feel he's being honest with you. My husband use to be into a lot of "questionable" things and even got arrested once - but people can change. If you think he has, then give him the benefit of the doubt. However, you don't trust him or have doubts, you might want to consider ending. Trust is a "must have" for any relationship.

If you like him that much, stay with him. But, give him enough rope to hang his own self. Pay close attention to his body language and certain things that he says. Check out if you can what he tells you to see if he is telling you the truth. The most important thing in a relationship is trust, if you can't trust him, get rid of him.

Well you dont believe him yet you say he hasnt lied to you.You dont know that he hasnt lied to you. That doesnt make sense. Well I say get rid of him, usually when people say stuff like that they are just saying that for your benefit. All guys appear sweet and nice at first until you REALLY get to them. Only some are actually truly sweet and nice. Most guys are jerks.

Give the guy a chance, and if you catch him in a lie, either through friends or your own eyes, dump him. Enter in with your eyes open and your heart guarded, and see where it goes from there.

Go with your gut feeling. If something tells you that you shouldn't be with him then don't be, but if you want to give him a chance then go for it. Nothing good can ever happen if you don't take a little risk.

If you are having doubts that's your conscience telling you something is wrong. Cut off communication with this guy.
