My little cousin, age 13 will be a Junior Bridesmaid in my July 2007 wedding. All of the other bridesmaids and the Matron of Honor will have male escorts. I will also have a few flower girls w/o escorts. Does the Junior Bridesmaid require an escort? Would it seem odd if she didn't have one?

I don't think it would be odd. What I think would be odd is if you had an adult escort her. BUT if you have a teenage male in yours or your grooms family, it might make a nice match, otherwise, I wouldn't worry about it

No...as a matter of fact, I believe most Junior Bridesmaid go without an escort.

I don't think that it would be odd for her not to have an escort. I'm having a junior bridesmaid and junior groomsmen so he will be her escort. But nothings wrong with it if she doesn't have an escort.

Ususally at weddings I have been to junior brides maids don't have escorts. If you are thinking of having an escort for her it should be a male relative the same age, otherwise she doen't need one.

I don't think it's odd, plus it's your wedding so u can do whatever you want! I'm getting married in August and I have 2 jr. bridesmaids. So we are having just one groomsman walk both of them down the isle at the same time. But that's just because my fiance wanted one more groomsman so it worked out fine. But I think whatever you decide to do will be fine. Good Luck!

It is fine for her to be without an escort, however if you have one for her he must not be more than a year or two older than her.

I would say no unless she does not feel comfortable walking by herself
